This 2.5 Inch statue depics Lord Krishna, one of the most beloved Gods in the Hindu World. Krishna is an avatar of the Hindu God Vishnu, and is considered as a great teacher to mankind as well. There are so many stories of Krishna, many focusing on Krishna's childhood, as well as His play fullness. But Krishna's serious side is depicted in the Indian Epic Poem The Mahabharata, in which Krishna is the Chariot Driver for the Righteous warrior Arjuna. But more than just a simple chariot driver, Krishna councils Arjuna on the nature of reality, which is captured in the Bhagavad Gita ("The Song of God").  In this statue, Krishna is depicted playing the flute and standing on a Lotus Blossom, a symbol for purity.
