Made from 100% cotton, these Om shirts are as comfortable as they attractive, and along with Black and Red Colors, they are now available in Turquoise and Purple colors. These Om tops are shaped to fit a woman's body, and available in either Black or in Red. Please note that the Handbag is Sold Separately. These tunic style Om Shirts have the Om Design printed on both the front and the back of the shirt. They are made with love in India, and are machine washable.

The word Om is considered the Sacred Symbol of the Universe in Hinduism. When the universe was still empty, thre was only the sound of Om, and from this cosmic vibration the entire universe unfolded.

Actually, it is more correct phonetically (and has more meaning) if the word is spelled out as "Aum" instead, since in the original Sanskrit it is spelled with three letters as well. And significantly, each of these three letters represents a different cosmic deity; the "A" represents the creation of the universe, overseen by Lord Brahma - The "U" represents The sustaining of the universe, overseen by Lord Vishnu - and the "M" represents the Destruction / Rebrith of the Universe, overseen by Lord Shiva.
