This tall Kuan Yin Statue is made of Bronze Resin and stands upon a Lotus Blossom. The statue is made from a combination of bronze powder and cold cast resin, and is then hand painted so that you can really appreciate the details of this Kuan Yin figure. Sculptures of the Bodhisattva Kuan Yin are found throughout Asia, and this statue depicts a style commonly found throughout China; namely, that she is dressed in flowing white robes holding a vase, with which she dispenses compassion upon the world. Kuan Yin translates as "The One Who Hears The Cries Of The World," and she is called upon when compassion is needed.
This statue stands 17.5 inches tall and the base is 5.5 inches at the widest part (where the Lotus Blossom Petals stick out).
