The calm expression of the Compassionate Goddess Kuan Yin is offset by the ferocious looking face of the dragon upon which she rides, a symbol for compassion conquering animosity in ourselves. This Kuan yin statue is made of Cold Cast Bronze, a technique originally created by the British which infuses real Bronze powder with cold cast resin to created a detailed statue of the Bodhisattva Kuan Yin. The face, clothing and other details of the statue are hand painted, so attention to detail has been paid in finishing this statue.
