This is an 8 inch tall statue of the Hindu Goddess Lakshmi holding two elephants, with their trunks spraying water into Lakshmi's hair. When Lakshmi is depicted together with elephants, it is a sign of abundance, and the flowing waters help depict fertility of the land and plenty of food to go around. Other than elephants, some Lakshmi symbols include the double lotus upon which she stands, and which she holds in her hands.
